Things have been getting shifted to the side and I have been unable to get the area I wanted to get for rebuilding dollhouses set up. Instead I have been working on getting a fireplace installed in the house to help with heating it through the winter without having to run electric heaters.

I’m looking for a good wood to use in building doll houses, at the moment I am thinking about 1/8th inch thick Birch plywood, which is what I have used for years in making hand-bound books. Any suggestions are greatly welcomed by anyone that can think of, or knows of, a better wood to use. [...]
