Doll Houses to Save My Parents’ House
When I started this blog it was because of a love I have for doll houses, one which my mom shared with me. It was her and my dream to create doll houses and display them around the house. I had planned to make an entire street of dollhouses in the basement, and just a couple of days before she died my mom was suggesting that we take the doll houses we had, get them all fancied up, and mount them in the trees out in the yard as bird houses. And install an 8 foot tall cat-proof fence around the yard.
Because of that shared love, and a need to raise money to save my parents house, I am going to be working on the doll houses with one set goal in mind: raise money to save my parents’ house. It won’t be easy, but I need to find some way to earn enough to pay off somewhere between $150,000 and $200,000 in debt against the house my parents had wanted to leave to me as a thank you payment for the lifetime I had set aside to take care of them. Dollhouses seem like as good a way to raise money for the house as any other way I have come up with.
And fair warning – I’m also going to soon be implementing in-post advertising here. I know a lot of people dislike that form of advertising, but it is the best way I know of to earn money and I do not want to lose my parent’s house.
